“Allerorten beginnt man, sich über Nomaden den Kopf zu zerbrechen”

Armed with nothing but the equipment that easily fits into a messenger-sized backpack, RESONATOR set out to prove that “nomadic devices” — an Apple PowerBook, a small synth, a small drummachine and some other things that are basically pocket gear — are very very useful when it comes to playing and performing music.

nomad basic was a series of 5 shows, untdertaken in and during the exhibition bøsen sell (http://www.waf80.de/boesensell). Each was about 60 minutes long and they all consisted of roughly ten to 15 parts/tracks each.

In the case of nomad basic, nothing was rehearsed, nobody knew before the show what it would turn into.
